Today on Flashpoints: Nez Perce tribal leaders in northern Idaho are arrested during a mass civil disobedience to block giant tar sands equipment from passing through and endangering sacred tribal lands. We’ll have a report on last night’s, late night civil disobedience and an update on further resistance actions being planned by the tribe. Also, residents of Richmond California, commemorate the US atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, in the context of the massive toxic release by Chevron, exactly one year ago today, that sent some 15,000 local residents to the hospital.
