Al: Thank you, Dennis, and thank you Flashpoints for breaking the information blockade.. there is no strike, never has been a strike.. was a lockout.. smaller and smaller everyday.. the strike has failed, the shops all open.. 90% of oil workers back at work.. now the opposition is blocking highways to stop people from going to work.. Dennis: AP says this is a 'deepening' of the strike.. Al: they say that everyday.. about CNN saying long lines at the gas stations, and showing video of the gas stations, but no lines.. says gas shortages, but also saying car caravans.. frustrating.. but demonstates that AP and Rueters being knowingly dishonest.. hell to pay later.. since last Monday night, when the poor came down from the hills and surrounded the TV stations with peaceful protests.. the situation improving daily.. the *strikers*, the elite oligarchy class, simulating a strike.. maintaining the fiction of a growing movement.. Dennis: Bush called for a regime change in Venezuela.. Al: a violation of the  Venezuelan constitution.. six elections in the last four years, Chavez and party won all six.. the White House, what's their problem?.. they only accept elections where the party with the fewest votes wins?.. about Organization of American States (OAS) negotiator, Roger Noreiga, a protege of Jesse Helms.. the Venezualan proposal.. Canada has broken with the US.. nervous, they also are an oil exporter to the US, fear a future US attack on them.. Che once said that the only role of the OAS is to administer 'the colonies'.. about disgraced Colombian OAS general secretary Cesar Gaviria installed by the US in Caracus as a mediator.. everything he says to the press is to underscore the lie of a strike.. part of the problem, the press is lazy.. also idiologues among the press.. see Narco News for more stories and background information.. even the illusion of a strike disappearing.. the corrupt old oligarches that have been siphoning off 80% of the oil revenues have been fired.. the School Of The Americas types that supported the last coup have been fired.. progressive administrations popping up throughout Latin America..the dream of Simon Bolivar.. Brazil is key.. US can't lay a finger on Lula.. US wants to get Chavez out of the way.. as long as Chavez is taking the hits, they can't get to Lula.

Charles: said the killing of civil rights workers a ploy by NAACP.. Dennis: do you accept Trent Lott's apology?.. Charles: about a speech he made to the White Citizens Council (link2) .. WCC intimidated black voters.. beat workers into submissions.. one woman later died.. I've never met Trent Lott.. he has never ventured into the African American community.. blacks here make only 1/3 of what whites do.. the rest of us are homeless.. about Lott's friend, Richard Barrett.. skinheads.. terrorist raids on the African American community.. racist killings in Washington state.. Nissan building a big plant, no jobs for blacks.. you can count Lott's (wealthy) black supporters on one hand.. about Strom Thurmond's 1948 white segregationist run for president.. Segregationist delegates marched out of the Democratic Convention during a Hubert Humphrey speech.. the governor of Alabama was the VP candidate.. their platform: 'segregation forever'... is the Klan alive and well in Mississippi?.. they had a march recently.. hangings still taking place.. a young man in Kokomo hung from a small tree, would not support his weight.. not being investigated.. the police very angry that we didn't support the suicide finding.. Mississippi still flying the confederate colors, and Trent Lott comes down on the side of the Confederate flag.. IT IS TIME FOR THE US TO RECOGNIZE.. ONE PEOPLE, ONE COUNTRY..
