The Rachel Corrie-on its way to Gaza

We’ll speak with an activist on board the Rachel Corrie, now 80 miles off the Gaza shore, and preparing to enter Gaza early Saturday morning; also, we’ll have a report on the border patrol beating death of a Mexican national on the US-Mexico border; we’ll also have an update on activities planned for the return of Gaza activists who were kidnapped and beaten on the last Gaza boat; and on Flashpoints en Espanol we’ll also report on the beating death on the border; and we’ll also feature Up Front with Jesse Strauss.

  1. Phil V says:

IT MUST BE SAID: The helicopters and likely the weapons and ammunition used to kill and wound the humanitarian flotilla victims came from the United States. Israel does not manufacture helicopters and the U.S. is its principal supplier. And the same may be for the amo and weapons. If they did come from the U.S. there is a serious complicity by our country, indeed an indirect culpability by our country in the “violations of international humanitarian law, international law of the seas, and international criminal law” and that includes the attack upon a NATO member nation, viz., Turkey.
Moreover, it is important to point out that our country has supported and to date has done nothing to help alleviate the suffering of the 1.5 million “incarcerated” Palestinians, that is, the U.S. is complicit and even
culpable. All that Israel has done to the Palestinians the U.S. Government has supported and has not done anything to stop the gross injustice. All that will likely result in an increased world-wide hatred for our country and for
all Americans — where the U.S. was the most hated country in world as a result our invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan, both clearly defenseless countries, it now stands with world-wide hatred.
