Today on Flashpoints:We continue our drum-beat coverage of the Egyptian people’s revolt against the 30-year strong-arm rule of Hosni Mubarak:We’ll feature a front-line report from outside the Cairo offices of Egypt’s lawyers’ union, which has been one of the flashpoints of this week’s unrest: We’ll speak with IPS Cairo reporter, Emad Mekay, we’ll also feature an update on Tunisia, and some overall analysis, from the Middle East Research and information project, and finally we’ll take another listen in to the contemporanous sounds, recorded by London Guardian reporter Jack Shenker, after he and about 40 other protesters, were beaten and arrested in the middle of the night, and jammed into a van for a brutal and terrifying ride to a remote site on the desert for possible torture.
