Then activist Tony Diaz joins us from Houston Texas to discuss the lasting effects of Hurricane Harvey as well as organizing by the Chicano community to support immigrant families separated by current US immigration policy. Finally we end with a freewheeling discussion of the state of politics in the United States with Ajamu Baraka.

Then we speak with Norman Solomon about the arrest of Sam Husseini moments before a joint press conference between Trump and Putin in Helsinki Finland. Finally we speak with Michael Klare of the Arms Control Association about how close we really are to a possible nuclear war with Russia and the chilling new development of what are being called limited nuclear weapons .

Last we cover a recent attempt to gut a strong Net Neutrality bill in the California legislature and the surprise outcome that actually pushed back against corporate influence over policy in the State.
