The Bhopal Gas Plant

Today on Flashpoints, Amnesty International says recent convictions for the 1984 Union Carbide-Bhopal disaster are too little and too late; we’ll have a report on the continued suffering of tens of thousands who were wounded in the 1984 release of thousands of pounds of deadly chemicals; also, victims of Israel’s recent bloody commando raid on the Gaza Freedom Flotilla consider international legal action against Israel; we’ll have an update on the continuing BP oil gusher disaster in the Gulf; we’ll also be joined in the studio by Paul Larudee, who was heading for Gaza on the Mavi Marmara when commandos attacked, killed and beat passengers; finally, Nora Barrows-Friedman contrtibutes an interview with congressional candidate for tomorrow’s election, Marcy Winograd.
